Yeah, I think Suzuki is right there with Ducati and Yamaha this year, no reason why Iannone isn't on several podiums. I also really want to see Dovi and Lorenzo fight for the title on Ducati, been too long since Ducati's been on top (Casey Stoner). Yamaha will either be great or a train wreck, we'll see. My fav thing ever this year would be to watch Rossi win his 10th title, but I think MM93 is too fast to beat on his Honda (unless he gets hurt).

Suzuki hasn't had a world title since the 2-stroke era.

I wonder what Kawasaki's deal is? One would think they would like a piece of this, but I guess not.

I recall they were in MotoGP a few years ago but bowed out.

We spent about a week in Austin.
Job number one was to head over to Psych's place, he's looking great and is a blast to hang out with as always.
Next we spent a day at my Aunt and Uncle's house which was surprisingly fun, he has several old muscle cars that we got to go for rides in. Great to catch up with family.

The Circuit of the Americas track is pretty cool but is deceptively big, Mary's steps tracker says we did 19,000 steps Friday for 8 miles. We almost did that again Saturday asswell. Our feet had had it on Sunday and we just hung out at the paddock and then went up to our seats at turn 1. Great weather except Saturday, but the thunderstorms held off until after qualifying, so it was all good.

We had paddock passes which means we got to hang around behind the team garages and see the riders and oogle the paddock girls. There was also an open bar and some other stuff, but the paddock girls...

It's also really worth mentioning what a stud Danny Pedrosa was this weekend.
Dude broke his wrist in the last race and had surgery and came back two weeks later to Texas which is a very physical track and took the pain and finished 7th.
He's a 3-time champion who's raced with broken collar bones, broken arm, both ankles broken, so when he says this rally hurt bad you can believe it.
Great frik'n job, Danny.
